Ethics
of TaeKwonDo
If we take a look
at the back side of TaeKwonDo club "Red Star"
membership card, we can see a list of ideals which
every member - student of TaeKwonDo art acts according
to:
I will long to do what is right.
I will evolve persistence, courage and adamant
spirit, but more than that honesty, nobility
and sacrificing.
I will seek only good in people and treat
them with respect.
I will respect one's freedom and honor more
than my own and I will not ask from other
to do what I am not ready to do.
I will tend to think positively and pass
this feeling to others.
I will develop all of my abilities to the
peak.
I will take care of personal development
so I will not have the time to criticize others.
I will celebrate my own, but also success
of other.
I will never forget that defeat often leads
to victory, and that the greatest victory
is a victory over myself.
I will insist on developing love, happiness
and loyalty to my family and I will know that
no success can compensate misfortune in family.
