One of the most successful TaeKwonDo clubs in Yugoslav TaeKwonDo history is "Red Star" from Belgrade which won the title of team champion of the state in 2000. in both competing disciplines (poomses and combats), as unique event in nearly 20 years old YU Taekwondo history. Since its foundation TC "Red Star" has, among other, won 6 titles of team champion of the state.

Scores since entering the Sport association:
128 gold, 95 silver i 93 bronze medals.

Some of the most successful competitors of the Taekwondo Club "Red Star" are: Dubravka Jovanović, Filanti Agelaku, Irena Jovanović, Jelena Antonijević, Miroslav Šalvarica, Vedran Ristić, Zoran Poučki, Jelena Šljivar, Vladan Jovanović, Rade Vuković, Danijela Purkov, Sanja Milinković, Petar Latinović, Dejan Drakulić, Nebojša Đukić, Nemanja Popović, Aleksandar Sremac, Igor Mitić, Aleksandar Đorđević, Nevenka Žalac and other.

In 2001. Dubravka Jovanović and Filanti Agelaku became Balkan champions (-72 kg and +72 kg divisions). On the World Championships in Korea (2001) they took respectivly 12th and 17th place.

Members of Yugoslav national team (now national team of Serbia and Montenegro) so far have been: Dubravka Jovanović, Filanti Agelaku, Irena Jovanović, Jelena Antonijević and Miroslav Šalvarica.
